Planner Needed for Temporary Position in Elderly Care

The planning unit is organized under the elderly and care administration. Here, eight employees work to plan the daily tasks for care staff within ordinary housing (home care).

Due to an upcoming parental leave, we now need to recruit a planner for a temporary position from May 1 to December 31.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a planner, you are the spider in the web who, together with your team, plans the daily work for nursing staff.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain a good planning based on approved SoL and HSL interventions.
  • Coordinate admissions and discharges from the hospital to ensure that the process is not delayed. Here, you actively collaborate with various parties (the region, unit managers, registered nurses, assistance and rehabilitation staff) for a safe and secure discharge.
  • Collaborate with the security center when planning, for example, alarms.
  • Assist in extracting statistics from the Lifecare system.
  • Calculate and verify approved hours for escorting.

As support in your daily work, there is a team leader on site.

Your working hours are days and evenings, weekdays and weekends on a rotating schedule. You will be based on the first floor of Mariestad Hospital, where we have newly renovated and fresh premises that we share with the security center's alarm operators.

You and your colleagues have a close collaboration with both the security center and the resource unit.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone with work experience from ordinary housing (home care). It is advantageous if you have ongoing or completed post-secondary education in staffing/personnel, and we also welcome candidates with at least a completed high school education and an interest in planning and scheduling.

Since the job involves many contacts both internally and with partners, you need to be very service-oriented, communicative, and collaborative. You should have the ability to find new solutions, sometimes under time pressure, which also requires you to work at a fast pace.

Since you will have many contacts via email and phone, good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form is required. We also see that you are structured and can quickly familiarize yourself with different systems.
